Horses Meadow

Horses' Meadow is a recreation ground rented from Trundle's the Builders for a nominal rent of 50p per annum. The facilities are centred around a football pitch which is shown above.

There is also a children's play area with swings and igloo which are seen in the distance in the above photograph, 

A basketball hoop stands on a concrete plinth in the middle of the site.

There are allotments over to the left of the above photograph. 

 There are numerous trees that enhance the site

A walk consisting of an avenue of trees and a path laid with bark chippings, known as Jubilee Walk, was created to mark the Millennium of 2000 A.D. There is a bench near the end of the walk to sit and relax.
