Bad Hair Days

Little Munden Football team 1975-76

I had the honour to captain this team which finished the season runners-up in Division 2 of the Herts & District League.

We played 36 League & Cup games and scored a total of 123 goals,Ray O'Connor,Mick Pike,and Tony West responsible for 79 of them.My contribution to the total was to score the last goal of the season from the penalty spot,probably the only time I actually crossed the halfway line all season except to change ends.

Here is team photo of these local heroes,one or two of them look as though they've just escaped from the Planet of the Apes, maybe it was just a bad hair day! If any of the team are still around I'd love to hear from them,keep up the good work with the site
