We played our last league game on Saturday August 28th away at Langley II, winning by 100 runs - LMCC 157-All out, Langley II 57-All out giving us 7 wins for the season. The following day saw us back at Green End for our end of season Double Wicket competition, where 9 pairs (including the ladies) fought it out for the coveted trophy. The winning pair was David Beardsley & Ian Mann. This was followed by drinks and a much welcome warming curry and chilli on a rather cold and windy bank holiday evening.
Stats are now being gathered in and we will hold our Annual Presentation Evening during October full report in next months newsletter.
