We notched up our second league win on Sat 19th at High Roding, helped along by Dane End player
David Beardsley who took 4 wickets for 29 runs.

t will soon be time for cricket again at Green End. After relegation last season we will be playing in Division 7 of the Herts & Essex Cricket League where it should be an interesting season with teams evenly matched. Spectators are always welcome - we play on Saturdays at 1.30pm and home/away dates will be published in this newsletter throughout the season.

FORTHCOMING DATES
Wednesday 21st April 2010 and every Wednesday until September - practice evening – come along from 6pm onwards.
Sunday 25th April - Pre-season friendly practice and 20/20 game - 1.30pm.
Saturday 1st May - league season starts with home game against Takeley II - 1.30pm.

The season closed with our annual informal Presentation Evening at the Rest & Welcome on 4th October, where the following awards were presented:
Player of the Year - Bob Andrews
Clubman of the Year - Dan Ward
Most Improved Player - David Beardsley
Catching Cup - Jamie Monk
The Pearman Cup for the Champagne Moment – Sherry Albert.

Sheep will now take the place of cricketers at Green End until next season when we will be playing in Division 6 of the Herts & Essex League - watch this space for fixture news in the spring.

We would like to thank all parishioners who turned out this year to support us, and look forward to seeing you again next year.

As we near the end of the season LMCC face probable relegation from Division 5, although this will not be decided until the last league game against Hatfield Heath (who have already been declared Division 5 Champions!). The season will be rounded off with a friendly against old rivals Hare Street & Hormead.

LMCC had a mixed season last year but although we finished second from bottom in Division 5 of the Lords International Herts & Essex Cricket League we escaped Division 6 as another club volunteered for relegation – so we have everything to play for this year! Our home games take place at Green End and our away games in the Herts/ Essex borders. Spectators are very welcome – games start at 1.30pm.
