It will soon be time for cricket again at Green End. After relegation last season we will be playing in Division 7 of the Herts & Essex Cricket League where it should be an interesting season with teams evenly matched. Spectators are always welcome - we play on Saturdays at 1.30pm and home/away dates will be published in this newsletter throughout the season.
FORTHCOMING DATES
Wednesday 21st April 2010 and every Wednesday until September - practice evening – come along from 6pm onwards.
Sunday 25th April - Pre-season friendly practice and 20/20 game - 1.30pm.

The season closed with our annual informal Presentation Evening at the Rest & Welcome on 4th October, where the following awards were presented:

Most Improved Player - David Beardsley
Catching Cup - Jamie Monk
The Pearman Cup for the Champagne Moment – Sherry Albert.
Sheep will now take the place of cricketers at Green End until next season when we will be playing in Division 6 of the Herts & Essex League - watch this space for fixture news in the spring.
